Instruction

    The amount of instruction a new driver needs to operate a motor vehicle safely and  prepare for the road test varies among people.

    Under the NYS Graduated Driver License Law (GDL), permitted drivers under the age of 18 must complete at least 50 hours of practice driving, with at least 15 hours of night driving with a parent, guardian, or driving instructor. 

    The supervising driver must be over the age of 21.Typically a new driver needs 12-15 hours of professional instruction and another 35-38 hours of supervised driving.

   One Hour Lesson $70.00 

This is an individual one-on-one lesson with the instructor and the student. We will pick you up at home, work or school or meet you at Craig's Driving School. Instruction is catered to the needs of the customer.

 

Before you schedule a road test you must complete the NYS Pre-License Class (5 hour) or a NYS Driver Education Program.

The 5 Hour Class is offered online.

The zoom class invite and videos will be emailed. Please text a picture of drivers permit to 315-216-4493. The certificate will be mailed after the class.
